Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sparing Bjj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Porter comes to the ring accompanied by Oh Lets Do It by Wacka Flocka Flame. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bjj's choice of entrance music: 50 cent feat. eminem, cashis & lloyd banks - You don't know. Sparing Bjj told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porter throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Bjj defending well as Porter loads up on a big left hand.
Porter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Bjj scores with a takedown into Porter's guard.
Bjj looking to sit in guard and control but Porter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Porter wants to get up but he can't break Bjj's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Bjj has his foot on Porter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Porter works his way back into a safe position though.

Porter wants to stand but Bjj has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bjj bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Porter's guard.
Bjj is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bjj drops back looking for a leg! Porter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Porter manages to kick Bjj off! Bjj jumps back into Porter's guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bjj tries for a takedown but Porter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Porter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bjj shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bjj showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bjj stops Porter from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bjj has hold of Porter's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Porter tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bjj cranks the arm and Porter screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Porter, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
