Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garson DeBramalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Overeem shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. DeBramalo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Overeem trying to control the position from guard on top but DeBramalo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Overeem pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. DeBramalo is keeping the position for now.
Overeem could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Overeem in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
DeBramalo is adopting a defensive guard.
Overeem throwing strikes but missing.

Overeem postures up in DeBramalo's guard and throws a big left but DeBramalo blocks it.
Overeem loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Overeem fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Overeem changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. DeBramalo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
DeBramalo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Overeem working away.

Overeem working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Overeem has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Overeem tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Overeem advances nicely into full mount.
Overeem takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Overeem unloads with some shots from mount but DeBramalo bucks and avoids them well.
Overeem throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Overeem punching from mount but DeBramalo doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Overeem goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now DeBramalo is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Overeem has his foot on DeBramalo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. DeBramalo works his way back into a safe position though.
Overeem is breathing heavily.
Overeem lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for DeBramalo!

Overeem goes for an armbar but DeBramalo turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from DeBramalo.

Overeem keeping moving, preventing DeBramalo from controlling successfully.
Overeem looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
DeBramalo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Overeem swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Overeem has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but DeBramalo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
DeBramalo wants to control from the top but Overeem keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dirk Overeem dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

DeBramalo throws a quick inside leg kick.
Overeem bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! DeBramalo comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Overeem falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Overeem was out before he hit the floor!
