Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Teichroew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mann comes to the cage accompanied by F'd up. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann shoots for a takedown but Teichroew saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Teichroew shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Teichroew showed some decent athleticism there.
Teichroew is thwarting Mann's attempts to control the position.
Mann tries to get to full guard but Teichroew has control of the leg.
Teichroew wants to stand up but Mann is controlling the position.

Teichroew seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Mann shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Teichroew counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Mann down! Teichroew is looking to finish but Mann is intelligently defending himself.

Mann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mann seems to have got his legs back now.

Mann had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Teichroew is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mann Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Teichroew's back instead.
Teichroew has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Mann looking to break Teichroew's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Teichroew remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Mann will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
