The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Phife - just one landing.
Phife closes the distance and clinches up with Nagar, looking for a takedown. Phife pushes Nagar against the cage but Nagar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Phife takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Phife scores with a nice right hand.
Nagar slaps away a takedown attempt from Phife, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Phife fails to land the takedown.
Bork Nagar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barney Phife.

Phife closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Phife looks up at the clock and then as Nagar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Phife smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Phife throws a strike aimed at the side of Nagar's head but Nagar avoids it well.
Nagar is looking for a sweep.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Phife connects with a nice short shot to Nagar's temple.

Phife has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nagar's face.

Nagar wants to hold on but Phife pushes him away.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Phife! Nagar is hurt baaadly! Phife is firing away with more strikes - Nagar is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
