Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hyde Vamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masahiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hyde Vamp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Masahiko Kimura!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura moves out of range as Vamp strikes.
Vamp stuffs the takedown attempt from Kimura. Kimura gets slowly back to his feet.
Kimura looks to land a left hand but Vamp moved out of range nicely.
Kimura fails with a takedown attempt.
Kimura shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vamp as he avoids it easily.
Hyde Vamp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Masahiko Kimura.

Kimura shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kimura was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vamp wants to hold on but Kimura pushes him away.
Vamp is trying desperately to improve position.

Kimura working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vamp doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vamp manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Vamp got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kimura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vamp has managed to get both his arms back between Kimura's legs - danger averted.

Kimura has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Vamp is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kimura.

Vamp has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Masahiko Kimura will probably get the nod.

Kimura dives in and grabs Vamp's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vamp pushes down on Kimura's head and hops out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kimura is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vamp is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hyde Vamp will probably get the nod.

Kimura drops back looking for a leg! Vamp is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vamp manages to kick Kimura off! Kimura jumps back into Vamp's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
