Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is BJ Penn. BJ Penn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Penn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Quick is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Penn scores with a couple of nice shots.

Penn is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Quick can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
