Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Aurelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalava Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt has chosen BOO YA as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Marcus Aurelius has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marcus Aurelius seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aurelius pinned against the cage. Aurelius gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hunt doesn't manage to clinch there - Aurelius circles away.
Hunt takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hunt slips under a jab.
Aurelius fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hunt manages to avoid it.
Aurelius throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hunt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aurelius.
Hunt works over Aurelius's head and body with a nice combination.
Hunt needs to keep his hands up - Aurelius had a free shot at his head there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunt wants to clinch up but Aurelius keeps it at a distance.
Hunt moves out of range of the strikes.
Hunt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Aurelius lands a nice shot that snaps Hunt's head back.

Aurelius throws an overhand right that lands on Hunt's shoulder, as Hunt tries to avoid the shot.
Hunt closes the distance and clinches up with Aurelius, looking for a takedown. Hunt pushes Aurelius against the cage but Aurelius circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Marcus Aurelius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalava Hunt.
Aurelius throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hunt explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aurelius paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hunt is trying hard to land a takedown here. Aurelius sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hunt moves into the clinch successfully.

Aurelius has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hunt uses from the top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hunt is trying to control the position but Aurelius postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Aurelius tries to keep at a distance but Hunt has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hunt breaks from the clinch.
Aurelius digs a good body shot into Hunt's ribs.
Aurelius rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hunt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Aurelius scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hunt doesn't seem bothered though.

Hunt takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hunt shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Aurelius connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Hunt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
