The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rua.
Wang is trying to control Rua's posture but Rua avoids it.
Rua tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Wang sneaks back into half guard.
Rua tries to stand and escape but Wang is controlling the position.

Wang kicks Rua off and gets back to his feet.

Rua throws a head kick that misses.
Wang takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wang defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rua.
Rua misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wang swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wang looks to land a combination but Rua avoids it well.
Wang staying out of range there.
Rua misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rua is breathing heavily.
Rua takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Wang scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Wang lands a slapping body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rua walks into a jab.
Wang bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rua's head.

It looks like Jason Rua has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Wang has hold of one of Rua's legs. Rua is fighting the takedown attempt but Wang gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Wang decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rua, up you get!
Wang dips to his left and cracks Rua with an uppercut!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Wang. That snapped Rua's head back.
Rua drops his hands momentarily and Wang takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Rua is rocked!
Wang connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Rua to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Wang!
