Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wes Barton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Chuin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Linchpin. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuin delivers a nice body kick.
Barton throws a leg kick which misses Chuin's front leg but catches the back leg as Chuin tries to avoid it.

No joy there for Chuin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Barton shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Chuin napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Chuin manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chuin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Chuin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chuin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Barton stacks Chuin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Barton!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
