Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between D J Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crash Holly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holly comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slow Death kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Crash Holly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rich shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Holly defends it nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Holly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Holly throws a shot from downtown. Rich moves away and avoids it.
Holly throws a body punch but Rich moves out of range.
Holly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rich.
Rich throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rich is looking to clinch.
Rich throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holly.

Rich throws a big shot that misses.
Crash Holly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Holly misses with a double jab
and Rich makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rich shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Holly manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rich accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Holly is trying to hold Rich in close to prevent damage but Rich has managed to pass into half guard.
Holly wants to control but Rich is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rich passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Holly!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holly tries to lock up and control but Rich gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The referee warns Holly that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Holly is working to get back to half guard.

Holly tries to reverse the position but Rich maintains control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rich fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Holly manages to avoid it.
Rich takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Holly thuds a left hand into Rich's body.

Rich shoots in for a double leg but Holly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Holly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Holly waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rich.
Rich fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Holly.
Holly blocks a head kick by Rich.
Holly throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rich counters with a series of strikes. Holly will be more careful next time no doubt.
Rich throws a series of punches but Holly avoids them all with ease.

Rich tries to keep at a distance but Holly has taken the fight into the clinch.
Holly swings wildly with an uppercut but Rich uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rich is trying to drag Holly to the mat but Holly just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Holly is working Rich over against the cage.
Holly lands a left hand.
Holly swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Holly has a couple of punches blocked by Rich.

Holly gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rich.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for D J Rich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holly is pressed up against the cage. Rich has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Holly down to the mat. Holly avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Holly instigates a clinch.

Rich goes for a takedown in the clinch but Holly prevents it.
Rich tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That was a close second round but I would say that D J Rich will probably get the nod.

Rich takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Holly is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rich rather than just go for the knockout.
Rich throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rich ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Holly moves away.
Holly slips a straight right by Rich.
Rich wants to clinch but Holly slips to the side
and Holly counters with a nice uppercut.
Rich takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rich throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Holly on the side of the head.

Holly moves in looking to clinch but Rich pushes him off.
Rich smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Holly tries to close the distance and clinch but Rich swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rich throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Holly goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rich turns into him and now he's in Holly's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Holly is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rich defends well.
Rich keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Holly's head.

D J Rich showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rich, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
