The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFly swats away the attempt to clinch by Blair.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McFly looks to land a combination but Blair avoids it well.

McFly shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Blair manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McFly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

McFly shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McFly was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Blair is in a horrible position here. McFly smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

McFly is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Blair has managed to escape the submission attempt.

McFly is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Blair can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

McFly goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

McFly stands up.

Blair has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Blair there as he acknowledges the shot.
