Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Gelder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Smack My Bitch Up - The Prodigy as his entrance music. Jason Lee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gelder goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Gelder shoots in and bounces Lee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gelder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gelder tries to stand but Lee is controlling from the bottom.

Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Gelder doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.

Gelder motions for Lee to come forward. Gelder throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lee shoots in for a double leg but Gelder sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gelder doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lee takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Gelder fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gelder moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gelder throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.
Lee keeps the fight on the outside.

Gelder is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Lee digs a good body shot into Gelder's ribs.
Oh Gelder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lee looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Gelder wants to try and get back to his feet.
Gelder seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Lee has control of Gelder's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gelder regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Gelder is squirming around, avoiding Lee's attempts to control the action.
Jason Lee has got the better of the ground game so far.

Lee moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gelder has worked his arm free - good work by Gelder!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gelder is trying to improve his position.

Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Gelder is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lee is controlling him well.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Gelder looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Lee! Submission of the night perhaps?
