Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hakeem Bodman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tank Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bodman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammer is looking to stand up but Bodman won't let him.
Bodman looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hammer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bodman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hammer trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bodman's guard.

Hammer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bodman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hammer has managed to get both his arms back between Bodman's legs - danger averted.
Bodman looking for a sweep. Not yet Bodman, not yet.

Bodman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hammer defends it easily.

Hammer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hammer is looking to stand up but Bodman won't let him.

Hammer advances position into side control!

Hammer stands up and beckons Bodman to his feet.
Bodman keeps the fight on the outside.
Bodman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tank Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hammer.
Hammer throws a hook but Bodman avoids it easily.
Hammer's corner calls for a 1-2. Hammer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hammer lands a big uppercut and Bodman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bodman looks OK. Hammer waves Bodman back to his feet!
Hammer connects with a superb combination that knocks Bodman out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Hammer before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Bodman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tank Hammer!
