Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yoruba Ahimbe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Amade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amade is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Numb Encore Remix. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ahimbe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Amade sprawls well initially but Ahimbe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ahimbe not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ahimbe scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Amade is pressing down on Ahimbe's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Ahimbe stopping the sweep attempt from Amade.

Amade working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ahimbe's head.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Amade decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Amade is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ahimbe defends it well.
Ahimbe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Amade is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Amade seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ahimbe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ahimbe moves into the clinch successfully.

Ahimbe drags the fight down to the ground.
Amade stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ahimbe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Oh Ahimbe is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Amade not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Amade looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ahimbe with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ahimbe wants to sweep but no luck.

Amade connects with a couple of short punches.

Ahimbe looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Amade has picked Ahimbe up and slammed him! Ahimbe can't keep hold of the triangle and Amade manages to pass to side control!

Ahimbe is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Amade's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Ahimbe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Amade wants to control from the top but Ahimbe keeps moving.

BOOM! Ahimbe connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Ahimbe quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Ahimbe but it's paid off an Amade is forced to tap! Nice work by Ahimbe.
