Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Son Wukong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milhouse VanHouten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
VanHouten swats away the attempt to clinch by Wukong.
Wukong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wukong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Wukong has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wukong there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wukong dives in and grabs VanHouten's left leg, looking for a takedown. VanHouten pushes down on Wukong's head and hops out.
Wukong shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says VanHouten as he avoids it easily.
Wukong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
VanHouten has taken the fight to the clinch.
VanHouten gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wukong.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Wukong fails to pull guard.
VanHouten lands with a left to the head.
VanHouten lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

VanHouten is leaning against Wukong and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

VanHouten cracks Wukong with a nice body shot.
Wukong is breathing heavily.
VanHouten lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Wukong tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. VanHouten smiles and moves away.

and VanHouten counters with a stiff right hand.
Wukong takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Milhouse VanHouten dominated that round.

and VanHouten cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and VanHouten counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wukong uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from VanHouten.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Milhouse VanHouten showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

VanHouten is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wukong off and has taken his back!
VanHouten is trying to stick to Wukong's back but Wukong is turning into VanHouten. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in VanHouten's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wukong.

Wukong postures up in VanHouten's guard and throws a big left but VanHouten blocks it.
Wukong advances to half guard.
Wukong throwing shots but VanHouten is blocking nicely.
Wukong wants to lay and pray for a moment but VanHouten keeps working.
VanHouten wants to control but Wukong is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wukong is looking for a kimura but VanHouten is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wukong to get the leverage.
Wukong misses with a head shot. VanHouten uses the momentum to regain guard.
Wukong lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wukong throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
VanHouten manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wukong manages to get himself to full guard.
Wukong wants to improve his position but instead VanHouten has moved into half guard.
Wukong has a hand on VanHouten's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. VanHouten takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Wukong is squirming around, avoiding VanHouten's attempts to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Son Wukong.
I think VanHouten has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
