The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Equinox lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Riley sprawling to the canvas. Equinox follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Riley hang on?

It looks like CJ Riley has been cut.
Riley is staying active underneath Equinox, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Riley is trying to maintain the position but Equinox is very close to passing his half guard.
Equinox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Riley on the ground.
Equinox prevents Riley from improving his position.
Equinox is keen to just control but Riley is a slippery customer.
Riley is looking to control Equinox's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Riley avoid being mounted?
Riley gets back to full guard.
Riley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Equinox's guard.

Riley is looking to take a break and control but Equinox is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Riley tries for a kimura but Equinox is defending well.

Riley has hold of Equinox's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Equinox seems comfortable defending it but Riley has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Equinox is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Equinox is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Riley couldn't care less - he's delighted!
