Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Liu Bei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iron Fischa!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fischa tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bei is able to avoid easily.
Fischa misses with a series of wild punches.
Bei misses with a body shot.
Bei slips a jab and a cross from Fischa.
Fischa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fischa there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Iron Fischa has been cut.
Bei feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bei missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bei thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bei stands up and waves to Fischa to follow him.
Bei lands a really nice looking cross but Fischa seems unphased.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bei lands a huge takedown. Fischa is out but the ref is slow to react and Bei lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Fischa lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liu Bei!
