PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Odle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Cowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Odle kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Let Go. Anderson Cowell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Cowell!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odle blocks a low kick nicely.
Odle leaves Cowell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cowell shoots in and drives through. Odle sprawls well.

Odle gets caught flat footed, as Cowell shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Cowell has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Odle uses from the top position.

Cowell is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Odle rolls with it to try and escape but Cowell cranks on the arm and Odle is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
