Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chakra closes the distance and clinches up with Wagner, looking for a takedown. Chakra pushes Wagner against the cage but Wagner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chakra fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wagner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Chakra tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Wagner has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Chakra wants to hold on but Wagner pushes him away.
Chakra wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Wagner.
Wagner is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Chakra can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kurt Wagner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wagner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chakra doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Wagner is tightening it up a little... Chakra has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Chakra reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Chakra taps out! nice BJJ there by Wagner!
