Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Murder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doc Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas has chosen Lunatic Fringe by Red Ryder as his entrance music. Doc Thomas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doc Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Murder.
Thomas throws a head kick that misses.
Thomas cracks the inside of Murder's front leg.
Thomas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Thomas shoots in and bounces Murder off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Thomas tries to stand but Murder is controlling from the bottom.

Murder lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Murder.
Well Thomas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
