The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalidovv tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
St Pierre fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
St Pierre tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khalidovv swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Khalidovv rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but St Pierre moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Khalidovv leaves St Pierre with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
St Pierre goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Khalidovv tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A right-left combo lands from Khalidovv.
Khalidovv throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
St Pierre moves in looking to clinch but Khalidovv pushes him off.
Khalidovv avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
St Pierre wants to clinch.
St Pierre wants to clinch up but Khalidovv keeps it at a distance.

Khalidovv throws a nice outside leg kick.
St Pierre slips a jab and a cross from Khalidovv.
Khalidovv lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

St Pierre gets a takedown into half guard.
Khalidovv is trying to stand up here but St Pierre is controlling him well.

St Pierre in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Khalidovv tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from St Pierre!
