Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Dourado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goran Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcelo Dourado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 15 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Goran Schwarzeneg!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dourado drops his hands momentarily and Schwarzeneg takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dourado is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Schwarzeneg.


It looks like Marcelo Dourado has been cut.

Schwarzeneg drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dourado has his foot on Schwarzeneg's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Schwarzeneg works his way back into a safe position though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dourado looking to hit a scissor sweep but Schwarzeneg is one step ahead there.

Dourado has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Schwarzeneg is working away from the top position though.

Schwarzeneg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dourado does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dourado is looking to control Schwarzeneg's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dourado avoid being mounted?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Dourado wants to work for an arm triangle but Schwarzeneg is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Dourado is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Schwarzeneg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dourado has control of Schwarzeneg's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Schwarzeneg regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well Schwarzeneg has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
