The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with St Pierre, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes St Pierre against the cage but St Pierre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
St Pierre cracks Gracie with an open hand slap.
St Pierre fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but St Pierre swivels and escapes.
Lance St Pierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Gracie.
St Pierre lands with a nice body punch.
Gracie needs to keep his hands up - St Pierre had a free shot at his head there.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says St Pierre as he avoids it easily.
St Pierre lands with a slapping head kick.

St Pierre keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can St Pierre finish him?
St Pierre lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
St Pierre drops Gracie with a straight right hand, right on the button! St Pierre follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
