Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Noham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JT Colossus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noham comes to the ring accompanied by Chase The Devil. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thomas Noham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JT Colossus!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noham tries to clinch up.
Noham shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Colossus but Colossus pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Noham tries to clinch up but Colossus circles away and keeps his distance.
Noham fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Colossus rushes Noham and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Noham successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Colossus wants to pass the guard but Noham is keeping the position.

Colossus drops back, looking for a kneebar! Noham looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Noham looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Noham!

Colossus is looking for a sweep.
Noham is looking to take a break and control but Colossus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Colossus is trying to improve his position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Noham decides to stand back up. Noham steps back and let's Colossus get back to his feet.
Colossus wants to clinch but Noham slips to the side

and Noham counters with a takedown into side control.

Noham working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Noham tries to advance to mount but can't.
Noham is breathing heavily.

Colossus is trying to improve his position.

Noham tries for a kimura but Colossus is defending well.
Noham works to advance to full mount. Colossus defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Colossus is looking to get to half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Colossus is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Noham working away from the top, dropping strikes.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Noham cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Colossus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Noham lands a big elbow.
Colossus is still on wobbly legs! Can Noham finish him?
Noham pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Noham avoids the attempt from Colossus to control.
Colossus is trying to escape the mount.
Colossus seems to have recovered his senses.

That's six minutes gone in the round.
Colossus wants to control but Noham is having none of it.
Noham is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Colossus can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Colossus is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Colossus is working to get back to half guard.
Colossus is in a horrible position here. Noham smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Noham lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Colossus hang on?
Colossus is wriggling around trying to escape.
Noham lands a big shot there that rocks Colossus but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Colossus tries to hold on but Noham pushes him away.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Noham clinches up with Colossus and pushes him back against the ropes.

Noham has picked Colossus up - he's going for a ride! Noham dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Noham is looking for a kimura but Colossus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Noham to get the leverage.
Colossus pushes Noham off but Noham dives into side control.
Noham cracks Colossus with a big right hand but Colossus just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Colossus looks to move to half guard but instead Noham has passed into mount! Damn!
Noham content just to control the position here.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Noham lands a heavy elbow.
Noham can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Colossus is looking to escape.
Noham blocks Colossus's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Colossus really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Noham trying to control but Colossus is having none of it.

Noham goes for an armbar but Colossus turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Colossus.

Colossus thows a big elbow that misses.
Colossus preventing the sweep.
Noham keeping moving, preventing Colossus from controlling successfully.
Noham has a closed guard, preventing Colossus from standing up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Colossus advances to half guard.
Noham is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Colossus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Colossus tries to get out of the position.
Colossus wants to pass to mount but Noham is defending the position.
Colossus not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Colossus looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Colossus wants to pass the guard but Noham is defending well.
Noham has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Colossus is working away from the top position though.

That's six minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Noham is looking to improve his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Noham looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Noham swings for the body but Colossus moves out of range.

That's seven minutes gone in the round.
Noham wants to clinch.
Noham wants to clinch up but Colossus keeps it at a distance.
Colossus has his takedown stuffed

and Noham counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Colossus wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Noham controlling the action here for a moment.
Colossus jumps guard but Noham stands there with Colossus around his waist. Colossus gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Noham drops down looking for an ankle pick but Colossus pulls his leg out and moves away.
Noham closes the distance looking to clinch
and Colossus counters with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Noham on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Noham misses with a body shot.
Colossus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Noham is fending him off so far but Colossus persists. Nope, Noham circles away and we're back to standing.
Thomas Noham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JT Colossus.

Colossus is pressed up against the ropes. Noham has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Colossus down to the mat. Colossus avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Colossus throws his legs up looking for a submission but Noham uses it to pass to side control.
JT Colossus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Noham creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

And that's the end of the fight!
Thomas Noham showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Noham has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
