The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christiansen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kirshaw keeps the fight on the outside.
Kirshaw fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Christiansen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kirshaw avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Christiansen tries to clinch there but Kirshaw circles away.

Kirshaw cracks Christiansen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Christiansen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kirshaw finds it's way round the side to connect with Christiansen's head.
Kirshaw cracks Christiansen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Christiansen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kirshaw lands with an uppercut that bounces Christiansen off the cage and back into rage.
Christiansen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kirshaw tries to avoid it but Christiansen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kirshaw to the ground. Kirshaw escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A jab from Kirshaw finds it's way through Christiansen's defenses.
Kirshaw connects with a high kick.
Kirshaw rushes Christiansen with punches - Christiansen moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Christiansen goes down! Kirshaw follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
