Mitchell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DesertStorm/DJClue - Money Power Respect. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Leigh!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Leigh sprawls well. Leigh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mitchell gets slowly back to his feet.
Good leg kick by Leigh there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mitchell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mitchell misses with a takedown attempt - Leigh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Leigh, right into the meat.
Mitchell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Leigh throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mitchell.
Mitchell fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mitchell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Leigh paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Leigh.
Leigh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mitchell tries to clinch up but Leigh circles away and keeps his distance.
Leigh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mitchell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Mitchell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mitchell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Crunch! Leigh slams his shin into Mitchell's torso.
Bryan Leigh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mitchell is breathing heavily.
Mitchell walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Leigh swats away the attempt to clinch by Mitchell.
Mitchell takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leigh pushes Mitchell away with a front kick.
Leigh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mitchell was well out of range. Poor timing from Leigh.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Leigh.
Leigh scores with a spinning back kick!
Mitchell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Leigh cracks Mitchell with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mitchell is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Leigh engages and cracks Mitchell with a massive lead left hook - Mitchell tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Leigh is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bryan Leigh!
