The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moorehead looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Faglio is fending him off so far but Moorehead persists. Nope, Faglio circles away and we're back to standing.
Moorehead throws a series of punches but Faglio avoids them all with ease.
Moorehead will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A looping hook to the body misses from Faglio. Moorehead does a little dance to reset his feet.
Faglio swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Faglio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moorehead swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Moorehead uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Faglio.
Faglio thows a left - swing and a miss!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moorehead.

Moorehead shoots in looking for a takedown. Faglio tries to sprawl out of it but Moorehead keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Faglio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Faglio throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Moorehead fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Faglio is out of range.

Craven Moorehead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Faglio throws a looping overhand right but Moorehead ducks down to avoid it.
Faglio misses with a hook. Moorehead ducked under it nicely.

Faglio has closed the distance and engaged Moorehead in a clinch.
Moorehead fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Moorehead jumps guard and drags Faglio to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
