The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniel tried to score with a low kick but Cain checks it.
Cain fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McDaniel fails in his attempt to clinch.
McDaniel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cain scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cain throws a hook but McDaniel avoids it easily.
Scott Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cain lands a jab.
It looks like Craig McDaniel has been cut.
Cain scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
McDaniel is rocked!
McDaniel shoots for a double leg takedown but Cain sprawls well. He's pushed McDaniel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oh McDaniel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McDaniel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McDaniel is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cain lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. McDaniel is looking to close the distance but Cain sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! McDaniel crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope McDaniel is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
