The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre tries for a takedown but Agrabah sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Agrabah misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
St Pierre shoots in for a double leg but Agrabah sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jafar Agrabah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Agrabah tests St Pierre's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Michael St Pierre has been cut.
Agrabah throws a head kick but St Pierre moves out of range.
Agrabah thuds his right hand into St Pierre's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

St Pierre shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. St Pierre showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The cut above Michael St Pierre's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Agrabah stuffs the takedown attempt from St Pierre. St Pierre gets slowly back to his feet.
St Pierre shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Agrabah pinned against the cage. Agrabah gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

St Pierre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Agrabah tries to avoid it but St Pierre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Agrabah to the ground. Agrabah escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

St Pierre is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if St Pierre hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
