Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kamm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirty Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tom Kamm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dirty Dog!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kamm. Dog does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kamm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kamm throwing strikes but missing.
Kamm trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kamm with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dog looking for a sweep. Not yet Dog, not yet.
Dog wants to stand but Kamm is controlling the position.
Kamm in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kamm has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kamm trying to control the position from guard on top but Dog is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kamm is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dog's half guard.
Kamm throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Dog trying to control but Kamm postures up.

Kamm looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kamm is trying to control the action in half guard but Dog is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kamm content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Dog gets back to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dog has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kamm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dog works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kamm throws a big right hand that misses.
Kamm throwing strikes from guard but Dog blocks nicely.
Kamm with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kamm in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dog working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kamm.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kamm looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dog!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kamm looking to control but Dog is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kamm misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Dog is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Dog is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Kamm landing strikes from the mount and Dog is in trouble!
Kamm looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Dog avoids a strike by Kamm and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Kamm's guard! Fantastic escape!
Kamm has a closed guard, preventing Dog from standing up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kamm holds on and takes a little breather.

Kamm trying to keep a closed guard but Dog is proving a slippery customer.
Kamm wants to stand and escape but Dog is having none of it.
Kamm is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dog is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kamm's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kamm's back!
Kamm manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dog's guard. Nice work there by Kamm.
Kamm scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Kamm is fighting to break Dog's control of his arms but Dog is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Kamm loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kamm landing some decent shots from guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Kamm dominated that round.
That's time! Kamm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Dog looks to land a right hand but Kamm moved out of range.
Dog throws a hook but Kamm blocks it.
Kamm will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kamm has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dog bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kamm's head.
Dog fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kamm shoots in for a takedown but Dog shows good takedown defense.

Kamm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Dog is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Kamm looking to ground and pound but Dog is blocking nicely.
Kamm throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Kamm trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The referee warns Dog that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Dog wants to hold on but Kamm pushes him away.
Dog tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kamm unloading with bombs!
Dog suckers Kamm into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Dog is now in Kamm's guard!

Dog wants to get up but he can't break Kamm's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kamm is working an open guard so Dog takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Kamm shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dog manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Dog is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dog is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dog in particular looking to stall.
Kamm tries to kick Dog off but Dog keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kamm trying to hold on to Dog's head to control him but Dog postures up.

Kamm kicks Dog off and gets back to his feet.
Kamm slips a straight right by Dog.
Dog connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kamm momentarily.

Kamm ducks under a wild hook from Dog.
Kamm shoots in and drives through. Dog sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Kamm. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kamm on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Dog throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Dog bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kamm's head.
Dog connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kamm momentarily.
Kamm closes the distance and clinches up with Dog, looking for a takedown. Kamm pushes Dog against the cage but Dog circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kamm fails with a takedown attempt.
Kamm fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dog avoids it really well and circles away.
Kamm drops his hands momentarily and Dog takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.


It looks like Tom Kamm has been cut.
Dog lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Kamm shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dog's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kamm has gone for a leg lock! Dog slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kamm's guard.
Dog wants to control from the top but Kamm keeps moving.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Dog must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kamm tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Dog stands up from Kamm's guard - Dog perhaps looking for a knockout.
Tom Kamm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dog throws a combination. Kamm tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Dog is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dog scores with a decent looking hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kamm takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nice body punch from Dog.
Dog throws a combination. Kamm tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


Kamm is rocked!
Dog throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kamm stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dirty Dog showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Tom Kamm's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Dog lands a left and a right that send Kamm crashing to the mat, dazed. Dog thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Kamm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dog lands a nice shot to the body.
Dog has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Dog connects with a stiff jab that staggers Kamm - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dirty Dog!
