Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eino Kivi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Howard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Outlaw Torn. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Howard catches Kivi right on the button with a cross.
Kivi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kivi digs a good hook to Howard's body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kivi is defended easily by Howard.
Howard misses with a straight right.
Howard tried to score with a low kick but Kivi checks it.
Howard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kivi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Howard throws out the jab.

It looks like Eino Kivi has been cut.
Howard cracks Kivi with an open hand slap.

Howard feints and then cracks Kivi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kivi down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Howard throws a jab when Kivi was well out of range.
Howard tries to close the distance and clinch but Kivi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Howard gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kivi to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Howard scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Howard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kivi.
Howard lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Howard misses with a series of wild punches.
Howard throws a chopping leg kick but Kivi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Howard lands a glancing blow to the side of Kivi's head.

That has opened up Eino Kivi's cut even more.

Kivi gets a takedown into half guard.
Howard taking some punishment here, with Kivi in his half guard.
Howard keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Howard is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kivi stalling away here and it's allowed Howard to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Howard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Howard's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kivi throws a series of punches but Howard moves out of range.
Howard moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Howard shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Howard throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

and Kivi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Howard lands a nice hook to Kivi's body. Kivi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Howard lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Howard loads up on a big right hand but Kivi slips the punch.

Jake Howard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kivi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

The cut above Eino Kivi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Howard with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Howard throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kivi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Howard lunges at Kivi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kivi's hand.

Kivi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Eino Kivi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
