Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sid Suffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Tatum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suffer looks for a takedown but Tatum sprawls well.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Suffer.
Suffer shoots for a double leg takedown but Tatum sprawls well. He's pushed Suffer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tatum takes the fight into the clinch.
Tatum wants the takedown. Suffer is fighting it off but Tatum persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Suffer's guard against the cage.
Tatum stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Suffer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tatum slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Tatum wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Suffer, who protects the arm well.

Tatum is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Suffer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tatum is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tatum is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Suffer can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Tatum postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Suffer looks a forlorn figure.

Tatum wants to take Suffer's back here but Suffer is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Suffer is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tatum's half guard.
Tatum is positioning himself well to prevent Suffer advancing to mount.

Tatum swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Suffer is now in Tatum's guard. A big mistake from Tatum there, giving up the dominant position!

Tatum controls Suffer momentarily but Suffer frees himself.

Suffer wants to stand but Tatum has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Tatum tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Tatum wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Suffer misses with a takedown attempt - Tatum sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tatum darts in and clinches Suffer up against the cage.

Tatum has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Suffer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Tatum has tightened it up now! Suffer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
