Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kai Roe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott Cain will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Cain.
Roe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cain.
Scott Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cain with a hook.
Roe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cain's guard.
Cain is looking for a triangle but Roe pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cain lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roe!
Roe wants to control but Cain is having none of it.
Roe is squirming around, avoiding Cain's attempts to control the action.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Roe sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Cain goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Roe rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cain's guard! Nice work there by Roe!
Cain can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Roe controls the pace.

Cain escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Roe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Roe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cain works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Roe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cain swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Roe is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
