Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dawson Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Hopkins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Watts fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hopkins fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Hopkins throws a right hand that Watts ducks under and follows up with a left that Watts also avoids with ease.
Watts tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hopkins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Hopkins counters with a stiff right hand.
Watts looks to throw the jab but Hopkins is out of range.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Watts throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Watts takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Watts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hopkins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Watts somewhat.
Hopkins leaves Watts with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dawson Hopkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrone Watts.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hopkins misses with a body shot.

and Watts counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Watts is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hopkins.

Watts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hopkins moves away.
Watts shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hopkins pinned against the cage. Hopkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A close second round but Tyrone Watts will probably get the nod - 10:9.

and Hopkins makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Tyrone Watts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hopkins uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Watts.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

and Watts counters with a three punch combo that has Hopkins backing up. Hopkins nods at Watts to acknowledge the strikes.
