Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex Bearden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Victorio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victorio has chosen Massive Attack - Angel as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jonny Victorio was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bearden showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Victorio.
Victorio avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Victorio takes a swing at Bearden's ribcage but misses.

Victorio lands a left and a right that send Bearden crashing to the mat, dazed. Victorio thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Bearden is rocked!

It looks like Rex Bearden has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bearden tries to score a power double leg takedown but Victorio sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bearden somewhat.
Bearden fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Victorio throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bearden.
Bearden shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Victorio as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rex Bearden. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Victorio tries to bum rush Bearden with a series of wild strikes but Bearden uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bearden takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Victorio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bearden ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Victorio moves away.

Bearden is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Victorio lands a right hook to the body.
Victorio bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bearden's head backwards.
Victorio misses with a two punch combination.
Nice body punch from Victorio.
Bearden takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Victorio connects with a superb combination that knocks Bearden out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Victorio before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Bearden!
