Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyler McDrunken!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDrunken throws a jab but it's blocked by Raithert.
Raithert misses with an uppercut. McDrunken saw that one coming.
McDrunken stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Raithert steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McDrunken.
Raithert throws a looping overhand right but McDrunken ducks down to avoid it.
McDrunken misses with a looping left.
Raithert defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McDrunken.
McDrunken jabs Raithert right on the nose. Raithert blinks but takes it well.
Raithert just misses with a punch to the body.
Raithert throws a leg kick but McDrunken sees it coming and moves out of range.
McDrunken scores with a nice strike.
Raithert is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from McDrunken misses the target.
Raithert stuffs the takedown attempt from McDrunken. McDrunken gets slowly back to his feet.
McDrunken ducks under a wild hook from Raithert.

Raithert tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McDrunken paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Raithert doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Raithert is really struggling to find his range with his punches. McDrunken's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Raithert throws the left hand but McDrunken avoids the punch easily.
McDrunken looks to land a right hand but Raithert moved out of range.
McDrunken moves out of range as Raithert strikes.
Raithert fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Raithert throws a nice looking combination but McDrunken bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Raithert throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McDrunken sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McDrunken on the wrong end of a nice hook.


It looks like Tyler McDrunken has been cut.
McDrunken lands a jab to the nose.
Raithert walks into a stiff left hand from McDrunken.
McDrunken misses with a straight left.
McDrunken shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Raithert as he avoids it easily.
Raithert misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Raithert fails in his attempt to clinch.
McDrunken might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Some wild striking there from Raithert.
Raithert stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Raithert wants it to stay on the feet.

McDrunken misses the jab.
Raithert misses the shot to the body.
McDrunken swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Raithert counters with a one-two to the body.
Raithert wants to clinch up but McDrunken keeps it at a distance.
McDrunken has his takedown stuffed

and Raithert moves into the clinch.
Raithert lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of McDrunken backwards.
Raithert tries to throw a body punch but McDrunken avoids it by throwing Raithert back against the cage.
Raithert is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Still in the clinch, Raithert scores with a nice short uppercut.

A head punch blocked on the inside by McDrunken.
Raithert misses with the head strike.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Raithert creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
McDrunken blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Raithert throws a punch but it's blocked by McDrunken.
McDrunken blocks an uppercut.
Raithert fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Raithert working aggressively here.

McDrunken escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Raithert is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McDrunken.
Raithert will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tyler McDrunken will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



McDrunken shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Raithert holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as McDrunken tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raithert tries to lock up and control but McDrunken gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Raithert takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Raithert is bucking up trying to escape but McDrunken cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
McDrunken tries to control but Raithert wriggling away.

McDrunken looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
McDrunken working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Raithert slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.

Raithert wants to improve his position but McDrunken is controlling well.
Raithert is trying to stand.
Ground and pound from McDrunken.
McDrunken throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Raithert wants to control but McDrunken is keeping busy.
McDrunken is taking a breather. Raithert says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
McDrunken is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
McDrunken missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Raithert looks like he's trying to stand up.

McDrunken throwing shots but Raithert is blocking nicely.
McDrunken is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Raithert!

McDrunken jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Raithert is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Raithert and McDrunken has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

McDrunken remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Raithert tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McDrunken wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Raithert is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler McDrunken showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


McDrunken ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raithert moves away.

Raithert tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McDrunken paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McDrunken misses with an uppercut. Raithert saw that one coming.
McDrunken connects with a good right hand that stumbles Raithert. Raithert circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Raithert tries to bum rush McDrunken with a series of wild strikes but McDrunken uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Raithert bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

McDrunken shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Raithert manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Raithert is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McDrunken is controlling him.

Raithert looking for a sweep. Not yet Raithert, not yet.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McDrunken's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Raithert keeping moving, preventing McDrunken from controlling successfully.
Raithert is trying to hold McDrunken in close to prevent damage but McDrunken has managed to pass into half guard.
McDrunken wants to take a breather but Raithert is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDrunken missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Tyler McDrunken is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Raithert pushes McDrunken off looking to stand but McDrunken dives back in and keeps control.

Raithert is looking to get back to full guard here but McDrunken has managed to pass to side control instead.

McDrunken wants to control the pace but Raithert is squirming around nicely.
Raithert is trying to escape the mount.
Warren Raithert has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McDrunken takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Raithert wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
McDrunken controlling from the full mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Despite being in the dominant position, Tyler McDrunken just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Raithert closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tyler McDrunken comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got McDrunken winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
