The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ollila buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kovanen looks to throw the jab but Ollila is out of range.

Kovanen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kovanen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kovanen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ollila can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ollila got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kovanen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ollila has managed to get both his arms back between Kovanen's legs - danger averted.

Kovanen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ollila doesn't defend quickly enough and Kovanen has managed to lock this one up! Can Ollila escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kovanen on a fantastic submission victory.
