Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Jacko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Rippa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gavin Rippa told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rippa.
Jacko throws a nice outside leg kick.
Rippa throws a jab when Jacko was well out of range.
Jacko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jacko slips a jab from Rippa.
Rippa lands a right hook to the body.
Rippa throws the left hand but Jacko avoids the punch easily.
Good shot there by Jacko.
Rippa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rippa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rippa throws a hook but Jacko avoids it easily.
Donk. Rippa catches Jacko right on the button with a cross.
It looks like James Jacko has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jab, jab by Jacko - just one landing.
Jacko displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Rippa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rippa there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jacko scores with a jab to the body.
Rippa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jacko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rippa throws a right hand that Jacko ducks under and follows up with a left that Jacko also avoids with ease.
The fighters circling - Rippa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jacko connects with a right hand. Rippa shakes it off.
Rippa moves forwards but Jacko connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Rippa moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rippa might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Rippa! Jacko is out on his feet! Rippa rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Jacko is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Jacko is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gavin Rippa!
