Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuoki Akamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Touhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akamara's entrance music is Illuminati. A fine choice. Touhu has chosen AC/DC - TNT as his entrance music. Yuoki Akamara could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Toni Touhu's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akamara throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Touhu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Akamara circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Akamara. No joy for Touhu on that attempt.
Akamara jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Touhu shoots in but Akamara avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Yuoki Akamara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Touhu.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Touhu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Akamara dives on top into guard.

Touhu has his foot on Akamara's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Akamara works his way back into a safe position though.

Akamara goes for an armbar but Touhu turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Touhu.

Akamara lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Touhu!
Touhu is looking to improve his position but Akamara isn't that keen on the idea.

Touhu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Touhu is squirming around, avoiding Akamara's attempts to control the action.
Akamara manages to capitalize on a mistake by Touhu to take his back!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Akamara trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Akamara is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Touhu defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Touhu prevents Akamara from getting a body triangle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Touhu rolls, trying to escape but Akamara keeps control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Yuoki Akamara will probably get the nod.

Akamara shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Akamara wants to control the pace but Touhu is squirming around nicely.
Akamara prevents Touhu from getting the reversal.
Touhu manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Akamara is trying to control the action in half guard but Touhu is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Touhu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Akamara's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Akamara's back!

Touhu looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Akamara is controlling Touhu 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.
Touhu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Akamara is one step ahead there.

Touhu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Akamara tries to free his leg and advance position but Touhu is retaining full guard.

Akamara throws a strike but Touhu avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Touhu keeping moving, preventing Akamara from controlling successfully.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yuoki Akamara will probably get the nod.
That's time! Akamara's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Touhu fails with the takedown
and Akamara counters with a nice body shot.

Akamara shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Touhu's guard.
Akamara looking to sit in guard and control but Touhu gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Touhu postures up.

Touhu drops back, looking for a kneebar! Akamara looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Akamara looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Akamara!

Akamara is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Touhu is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Akamara is trying to get an arm triangle but Touhu is defending well.
Touhu is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Touhu regains half guard there - taking advantage of Akamara's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Touhu tries to kick Akamara off but Akamara keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Touhu moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Touhu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Akamara doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Akamara manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Akamara passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Touhu tries to buck Akamara off but Akamara is having none of it.
Yuoki Akamara overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Akamara thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Akamara happy to just control the position for now.
