The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houdini slips a jab and a cross from Smith.
Houdini will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Smith throws out a loose jab but Houdini uses good head movement to avoid it.

Houdini shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Smith is trying to defend but Houdini finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Houdini shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Houdini showed some decent athleticism there.

Houdini goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Smith turns into him and now he's in Houdini's guard.
