Black is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Pain. Forrest Lion has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lion is looking to regain half guard here but Black keeps moving and retains side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lion keeps working.

Lion sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Black's guard.

Lion is trying to work for a kimura but Black is defending well.

Lion is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Black defends it well.

Lion is trying to control the action in half guard but Black is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Black got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lion has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Black has managed to get both his arms back between Lion's legs - danger averted.

Black gets to his feet - Lion follows without any prompting.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lion is on top in guard.
