Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sandro Noessler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Crunkski!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Noessler scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Crunkski is looking for a sweep.
Crunkski is not content to let Noessler control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crunkski tries to bench press Noessler off him but Noessler keeps the position.

Noessler stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Crunkski throws a series of punches but Noessler avoids them all with ease.

Crunkski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Noessler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Crunkski closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Noessler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Noessler tries to clinch there but Crunkski circles away.

Mike Crunkski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Noessler ducks under a wild hook from Crunkski.
Crunkski tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Noessler is able to avoid easily.

Noessler shoots in for a double leg but Crunkski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Crunkski works over Noessler's head and body with a nice combination.
Noessler is breathing heavily.

Noessler is rocked!

Noessler tries to keep at a distance but Crunkski has taken the fight into the clinch.

Noessler manages to break the clinch.
Crunkski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Noessler manages to avoid it.
Crunkski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Noessler moves into the clinch successfully.
Noessler keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Crunkski's efforts to push away.
Noessler keeps control of Crunkski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Noessler is trying to maintain a safe position but Crunkski gets an underhook and turns Noessler into the cage.
Noessler tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crunkski just stands there and leans against the cage.
Noessler prevents Crunkski from breaking the clinch.
Crunkski lands a hook to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crunkski is trying to force a seperation but Noessler has the dominant position.

Noessler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Crunkski uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Crunkski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Crunkski fails to land with a series of punches.
Crunkski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Noessler.
Noessler fails in his attempt to clinch.
Crunkski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Noessler paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Crunkski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Noessler. Noessler circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Crunkski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Noessler circles away quickly and effectively.
Crunkski connects with a crisp jab.
Crunkski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Crunkski lands a left and a right that send Noessler crashing to the mat, dazed. Crunkski thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Noessler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


It looks like Sandro Noessler has been cut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Crunkski cracks Noessler with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Noessler falls to his knees and Crunkski doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Crunkski!
