Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Macintosh closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Yared to the mat! Yared manages to get full guard.

Yared has his foot on Macintosh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Macintosh works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Macintosh misses with a takedown attempt - Yared sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Macintosh feints and as Yared raises his hands in defense, Macintosh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Yared is looking for a triangle but Macintosh pushes his legs off easily.

Macintosh thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Macintosh tries for a kimura but Yared is defending well.
Yared tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Macintosh is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yared is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Yared is looking for a sweep.

Yared manages to work his way to half guard, despite Macintosh's best efforts.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still in half guard, Macintosh seems content to control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Macintosh in particular looking to stall.
Yared is staying active underneath Macintosh, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
