Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christopher Wallase!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage looks to land a combination but Wallase avoids it well.
Cage connects with a single shot there.
Cage misses with a few strikes there.
Cage throws a looping overhand right but Wallase ducks down to avoid it.
Cage throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cage throws a series of punches but Wallase avoids them all with ease.
Wallase looks for a takedown but Cage sprawls well.
Cage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cage throws a series of punches but Wallase moves out of range.
Cage cracks Wallase with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Cage misses with a looping left.
Wallase moves out of range of the strikes.
Wallase looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Wallase gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Cage tries to break the clinch but Wallase is controlling the position.
Cage wants to break free but Wallase has control.
Wallase tries to pull guard but Cage won't allow it.

Cage has had enough of the clinch but Wallase keeps him there for the moment.

It looks like Christopher Wallase has been cut.
Wallase takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Luke Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cage misses with the combination.
Luke Cage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wallase defending well as Cage loads up on a big left hand.
Cage's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Cage duly obliges.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wallase tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wallase moves out of range as Cage strikes.
Wallase wants to clinch.
Cage lands an overhand right.
Cage slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Cage fails to land with a series of punches.
Cage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wallase.
Cage looks to score with a jab to the body but Wallase is just out of range.
Wallase shoots in but Cage avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cage drops Wallase with a left and a right! Oh, Wallase is hurt - Cage dives into side control looking to finish!

Cage throws a strike aimed at the side of Wallase's head but Wallase avoids it well.
Cage controlling the position.
Wallase tries to bench press Cage off him but Cage keeps the position.
Cage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wallase on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wallase looks gassed!
Wallase can't do much from the bottom here.
Wallase is trying to get back to half guard.
Cage in side control, just content to control the action for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cage works the jab nicely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wallase fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cage lands with a right hand.
Cage lands a glancing blow to the side of Wallase's head.
Wallase is trying desperately to land a takedown but Cage is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Wallase.
Cage lands a left and a right that sends Wallase crashing to the canvas! Cage dives into mount looking to finish!
Wallase is still in real trouble! Can Cage finish him?
Cage sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Cage controlling from the full mount.
Wallase seems to have recovered his senses.
Cage's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cage unloads with some shots from mount but Wallase bucks and avoids them well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Wallase takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wallase takes a jab right on the kisser.
Cage connects with a nice cross there... Wallase is looking wobbly and Cage recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Wallase to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Cage jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Luke Cage!
