Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Capwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russ Luv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russ Luv will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luv gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Capwell.
Capwell leaves Luv with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Capwell throws out a leg kick but Luv moves out of range and Capwell only half commits.
Capwell throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Luv on the side of the head.

Luv pushes Capwell away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Capwell gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Capwell grinds an elbow into Luv's temple.
Luv wants to get back to his feet but Capwell drags him back down.
Luv bucks up and tries to throw Capwell off but instead Capwell has got his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Capwell is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Capwell gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Capwell gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Capwell apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Capwell stuns Luv with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
