PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between fred bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bob comes to the cage accompanied by Sublime - Santeria. Brophy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bob goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Grant Brophy has been cut.

Brophy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Brophy tries a knee to the head but bob blocks it.

bob is trying to break free.

Brophy stalls.
bob could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Brophy connects with a nasty looking knee right to bob's face.
bob wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brophy has him pressed against the cage.
bob wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
bob wants to break the clinch but can't.
bob jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brophy walks away with a smile on his face. bob gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Brophy lands a big head kick that sends bob tumbling to the mat! Brophy takes a step backwards and waves bob back to his feet - he wants the finish!

bob is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
bob tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brophy swivels and escapes.
Oh bob is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
bob is breathing heavily.
Brophy grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! bob takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Brophy cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
