Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pierre Silverhielm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Allen!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silverhielm throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Silverhielm rushes Allen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silverhielm misses with a punch on the inside.
Allen dodges an elbow strike from Silverhielm.

Allen is trying to trip Silverhielm. He has hold of a leg but Silverhielm is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Allen persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Allen sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Allen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Allen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Allen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Allen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Silverhielm is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Silverhielm has escaped and now he's on top!
Silverhielm wants to control from the top but Allen keeps moving.

Silverhielm looking to sit in guard and control but Allen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Allen connects with a couple of short punches.
Allen postures up.
Silverhielm has Allen pulled in close to control his posture.

Silverhielm pushes Allen off and scrambles back to his feet.
Silverhielm swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Allen avoids the body shot from Silverhielm.
Allen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silverhielm.
Silverhielm misses with a wild body shot.
Silverhielm looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Silverhielm has Allen up against the cage in a clinch.
Allen is trying to drag Silverhielm to the mat but Silverhielm just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Allen throws an elbow but it misses.
Allen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Allen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Allen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silverhielm sees it coming and defends easily.
Allen looks gassed!
Silverhielm has his hands clasped together around Allen's back. He's all about the action.

Allen is trying to work for a kimura but Silverhielm is defending well.
Silverhielm is trying to maintain the position but Allen is very close to passing his half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silverhielm pushes Allen off looking to stand but Allen dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silverhielm lands a nice shot to the body.
Silverhielm is looking to wear down Allen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Allen tried to score with a low kick but Silverhielm checks it.
Pierre Silverhielm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen avoids the body shot from Silverhielm.
Silverhielm throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Silverhielm fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allen manages to avoid it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Silverhielm. Allen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Allen moves out of range of the body kick from Silverhielm.
Silverhielm tries to clinch up.
Silverhielm misses the shot to the body.

A jab-cross combination lands for Silverhielm and sends Allen crashing to the mat! Silverhielm follows him down to the mat - Allen regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!


Allen is rocked!


It looks like Mike Allen has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Allen is still in real trouble! Can Silverhielm finish him?
Silverhielm takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pierre Silverhielm dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mike Allen's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Silverhielm lands a nice shot to the body.

Silverhielm drops Allen with a straight right hand, right on the button! Silverhielm follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
