Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rip James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlovski comes into the arena with Now I Lay Thee Down by Machine Head blaring out of the sound system. James has chosen What's the difference as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski tries to clinch up but James circles away and keeps his distance.
James blocks a jab.
Arlovski is looking to clinch but James is avoiding it.
Arlovski just misses with a punch to the body.

Arlovski fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but James is out of range.

James moves out of range of the body kick.
Arlovski throws a shot from downtown. James moves away and avoids it.

Arlovski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Arlovski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and James counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Arlovski!
Arlovski is trying desperately to improve position.
Arlovski is bucking up trying to escape but James cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Vladimir Arlovski has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

James wants to finish this one by submission but Arlovski is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from James.

James can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Arlovski is looking to escape.
BOOM! James connects with a massive shot to the dome!

James has hold of Arlovski's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Arlovski manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

James throws some wild stikes that Arlovski manages to avoid easily.
Arlovski tries to hold on but James postures up.
Arlovski is looking to improve his position but James isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, James cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
