Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darren Galazin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck McBuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darren Galazin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck McBuck!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBuck connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
McBuck jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McBuck throws out a loose jab but Galazin uses good head movement to avoid it.

McBuck feints and as Galazin raises his hands in defense, McBuck changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Galazin wants to improve his position but instead McBuck has moved into half guard.
McBuck controlling the pace.
Let's hope that McBuck has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
McBuck scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

McBuck stalling.
Galazin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McBuck lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
McBuck working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Galazin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McBuck on the ground.
McBuck controlling the action here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Galazin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McBuck is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Galazin wants to improve his position but McBuck is controlling well.

Galazin actively working from the bottom here.
Galazin is looking for a sweep. McBuck is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McBuck slows the pace down in half guard.
McBuck passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Galazin!
Galazin is looking to get to half guard.
McBuck controlling his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Galazin is desperately trying to improve his position but McBuck has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
McBuck lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Galazin hang on?
McBuck controlling the pace for now.
Galazin is working to get back to half guard.

McBuck has hold of Galazin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Galazin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Galazin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting McBuck counter with a right hand.
A telegraphed right hand from McBuck misses the target.

McBuck shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Galazin sprawls well. Galazin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McBuck gets slowly back to his feet.

McBuck throws a looping overhand right but Galazin ducks down to avoid it.

and McBuck counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McBuck.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

McBuck not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

McBuck's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
McBuck distracts Galazin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
McBuck in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Galazin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McBuck with a nice head shot there.

Galazin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McBuck has picked Galazin up and slammed him! Galazin can't keep hold of the triangle and McBuck manages to pass to side control!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
McBuck controlling the position from side mount.

Galazin taking punishment in the form of punches.
McBuck is chipping away with strikes.
McBuck lands a decent elbow from side control.
McBuck advances to full mount.
Galazin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McBuck looking to control and managing it successfully.
Galazin tries to lock up and control but McBuck gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
McBuck sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chuck McBuck showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Galazin moves in looking to clinch but McBuck pushes him off.
Galazin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

McBuck drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Chuck McBuck has got the better of the ground game so far.
McBuck moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Chuck McBuck just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Galazin pushes McBuck up against the ropes in a clinch.
Galazin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but McBuck blocks it with crossed arms.

Galazin with an attempt at a knee that misses.
McBuck drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Galazin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Galazin with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Galazin tries to land a knee to the head but McBuck blocks with his arms.

Galazin is trying to break the clinch but McBuck has him pressed against the ropes.

Still in the clinch, McBuck scores with a nice short uppercut.
Galazin looking to throw knees to the head but McBuck is blocking nicely.
Galazin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Galazin misses with a knee to the head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Galazin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but McBuck blocks it with crossed arms.

McBuck is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Galazin can't fight it off and eventually McBuck manages to take the fight to the floor. Galazin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

McBuck slips nicely into half guard.

McBuck winds up and cracks Galazin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
McBuck takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
McBuck passes into side control, despite Galazin's attempt to control the position.

McBuck cracks Galazin with a big right hand but Galazin just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

McBuck in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Darren Galazin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

McBuck is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Galazin has escaped the position, nice work there.
Galazin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McBuck wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

McBuck connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Galazin some visible discomfort.
McBuck gets to mount! Galazin was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Chuck McBuck is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
McBuck lands with some strikes.
McBuck raining down shots from the mount!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Galazin can't escape the position.
