Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Hosebie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howard Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jose Hosebie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jose Hosebie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duck looks to land a combination but Hosebie avoids it well.
Duck lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A swing and a miss from Duck.
No joy there for Hosebie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Duck moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Duck displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hosebie.
Duck wants to clinch up but Hosebie keeps it at a distance.
Hosebie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Duck tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hosebie paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Howard Duck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duck wants to control but Hosebie is keeping him busy.

Hosebie is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Duck has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Duck wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hosebie keeps working.
Hosebie tries to improve position but can't.
Hosebie sneaks out the side door and pushes Duck away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Hosebie.
Duck can't do much from the bottom here.
Duck regains half guard, as Hosebie was trying to land strikes.

Duck is trying to maintain the position but Hosebie is very close to passing his half guard.
Hosebie thows a huge punch but Duck dodges it nicely.
Hosebie thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Duck to regain full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Duck looking to control but Hosebie passes into half guard.
Hosebie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Duck sees it coming and defends easily.
Duck has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hosebie is working away from the top position though.
Hosebie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Duck gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Howard Duck will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Duck scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hosebie doesn't seem bothered though.
Duck tries to clinch but Hosebie is having none of it.
Hosebie shoots in for a takedown but Duck shows good takedown defense.
Duck bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hosebie's head backwards.
Hosebie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Duck is fending him off so far but Hosebie persists. Nope, Duck circles away and we're back to standing.

Duck tries to bum rush Hosebie with a series of wild strikes but Hosebie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Duck stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duck wants it to stay on the feet.
